TN Women Civil War Memorial Nashville

This large sculpture honors the heroism and sacrifice of the women of Tennessee in the Civil War. Three figures sculpted by Belle Kinney look down from atop the wall into the plaza. A large Greek goddess sits in the middle wearing a wreath of olive leaves and she holds another over the head of a Civil War era female; she also has a hand on a wounded man resting against a cannon.
