There are walls of names for World Wars I and II, Korea, Vietnam and the Persian Gulf. The walls also include quotes/descriptions provided by Alabama schoolchildren. The walls are of polished black marble/granite. The largest two walls are for the World Wars and are arranged in half circles. The park is arranged around a small square pond and a brick-triple archway moved from the old Anniston High School and a set of large flagpoles.';

var str = 'A large statue of piled rocks topped by a globe on which a spread-winged eagle lands honors those who gave their lives in the First World War. On the front of the memorial is a bronze plaque Honor Roll list of the forty-one servicemen from Calhoun County, Alabama who were killed during their service from 1917-1919. On the back side of the memorial is a small plaque referring to the Honor Roll for all Soldiers and Sailors from Calhoun County and indicates it was dedicated on Armistice Day 1921. The memorial sits on the island median of Quintard Avenue. The memorial was dedicated by the William Forney Chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy.';
