var str = 'The sculpture is composed of individual dog tags engraved with the name of each of the U.S. soldiers, sailors, airmen, and nurses who lost their lives in the Vietnam War! The tags are then hung as a group in the foyer ceiling of the small museum. This sculpture took over 2 years to create with the artists engraving tags eight hours a day for five days a week and measures 10x40 feet. It is a stunning sight. At the time of this photo it was in the Richard Steinbock and Ned Broderick and National Vietnam War Art Museum in Chicago, Illinois. (2001) Now the National Veterans Art Museum.';

var str = 'This beautiful cemetery is shaped in a half-circle with the roads between gravesites forming spoke-like shapes in the wheel. Spanish moss hangs majestically from the large trees that stand amongst the rows of headstones. The cemetery was established in 1863 during the U.S. Civil War and originally contained about 2800 remains of Union soldiers who died in nearby hospitals or military actions. One hundred and seventeen Confederate soldiers were also buried here. In 1989 nineteen Union African American soldiers who had fought with the famed 54th Massachusetts Regiment and whose remains had been found on nearby Folly Island in 1987 were re-interred here with full honors. The cemetery houses the remains of Medal of Honor recipient Private First Class Ralph H. Johnson and France Legion of Merit recipient Master Sergeant Joseph Simmons. And, Gerd Reussel, a German POW who had been aboard a German U-boat sunk off the coast of North Carolina was buried here when he died on the way to Charleston, South Carolina.';
