var str = 'This beautiful memorial site honors the Army Rangers who have served the U.S. since their inception. On enters the site along a walkway lined with stones purchased to honor individual Rangers – there are no ranks on the stones just the term “Ranger” before the names. A dramatic entrance arch stands at the entry; the arch is composed of two large granite columns with the word “Ranger” as is seen on the uniform patch stretched across. On the left column is inscribed the Ranger creed and on the right column are the Standing Orders of Rogers Rangers as developed by the originator of the US Rangers, Robert Rogers, during the French and Indian War. At the end of the walkway and framed through the arch, is the focal point of the memorial site – a large Fairbairn-Sykes knife sculpture that stands on its point. The knife was standard issue to Army Rangers during World War II. There are also black marble markers that give the history of the Rangers, their units and the campaigns in which they participated as well as the names of those who were awarded the Medal of Honor. var str = 'A simple granite stone marks the entrance to the 11th Airborne Division or “Angels” Division memorial. It is inscribed with the unit’s insignia which includes the Airborne patch and the Glider patch. Down a small walkway is the main memorial circle which centers on a large memorial composed of two octagonal granite bases on which sits a large rectangular granite stone which is topped by a bronze life-size soldier with his arm raised holding his rifle. The marker states it is dedicated to the officers and men of the 11th Airborne Division who served from 1942 to 1958. On a low wall surrounding the statue is inscribed the history of the Division and the battles and campaigns in which it served mainly during World War II and Korea.';
