var str = 'This most unusual memorial honors local servicemen who gave their lives in the fighting in the Iraq War of the 21st century. A small concrete pillar provides a base to an extremely moving sculpture of a baby being lifted by two hands and wrapped in a US flag. The hand supporting the child’s head is male, while a female head supports the torso. An empty Kevlar soldier’s helmet rests in front of the male hand. The statue represents the sacrifice of a soldier’s parents who offer their child up to the nation in war time. On the base pillar are mounted bronze plaques with the names of individual soldiers who were lost in Iraq.';

The battle launched the political career of future president William Henry Harrison and decimated Tecumseh’s hopes for a Native American Confederacy. Around the base of the obelisk are bronze plaques indicating the size of both forces and the number of casualties believed to have been suffered by both sides as well as the names of enlisted personnel and officers who were killed. On the front side of the base stands a life-size carved statue of General Harrison. ';
