This massive obelisk tower honors those who served in World War I and the Liberty Memorial Museum is now the National World War I Museum. The beautiful art deco structure was built on to what was the highest point in Kansas City in the 1920s and is covered with sculptured reliefs as well as two Assyrian sphinxes.
