This gray granite marker erected by the Pearl Harbors Survivors Association honors all those who gave their lives on December 7, 1941. On the front is engraved a memorial statement to those who served as well as the insignias of the five branches of military service. On the reverse side of the marker the names of five Marylanders who lost their lives on December 7 are engraved along with the damage to the USS Maryland (BB-46).
