In the same location as the Vietnam Memorial for Danbury, the black granite memorial has a large center square post and flanked by two large wings. On the left are listed those from the Danbury and surrounding region who gave their lives in the conflict including Medal of Honor recipient Lee R. Hartwell. On the right side of the memorial is inscribed a brief overview of the war and the statistics on those from all military branches who served and how lost their lives. The large center post contains an inscribed map of the Korean Peninsula and the battlefield locations from the war. At the top of the post is a bronze half globe on which sits a bronze eagle. The memorial was dedicated in July 1993 on the 40th anniversary of the armistice. Rogers Park, 1 Memorial Drive, Danbury CT
